About The 651 visa

General Information

The Australian eVisitor visa (subclass 651) is a multiple-entry travel permit. With this visa, you can visit Australia for tourist or business purposes. You must apply for it, from outside of the country.

The eVisitor visa for Australia is valid for 12 months and allows you to remain in the country for three months each time you visit within that 12-month period.

Eligibility

You can apply for the eVisitor visa for Australia if:

  • You have a valid passport from an eligible country
  • You intend to stay in Australia for up to 3 months per entry
  • You intend to visit Australia for the purpose of Business or Tourism
Requirements

In order to apply for the Australia eVisitor visa, you will be required to provide a number of documents. These may include:

  • This visa does not entitle you to be employed by a company in Australia
  • It is valid for multiple visits of up to three months each within 12 months from the date of issue
  • You will not be permitted to enter Australia unless you are in good health and have no criminal convictions
  • You must be outside Australia when you apply for your E-Visitor Visa
