What are the application requirements for the India Business Visa?

When applying for this type of visa for India, you will be required to provide certain documentation including:

  • A valid passport that is valid for a minimum of six months from the date of your arrival in India. It must have a minimum of two blank pages
  • A passport photograph
  • Application form for the Indian Embassy signed on both of the pages
  • A letter by your employer and addressed to the Indian embassy, the letter should specify the dates you expect to start and finish work, the purpose of your visit to India
  • A letter from the company in India addressed to the Indian embassy, that invites you to India, and specifies the purpose of your visit and the dates you expect to start and finish work

It is important to note that the letter from your employer and from the Indian company should be written in English, stamped, signed, and should be on company letterhead.
